Came here on recommendation and was not disappointed. The bistro cafe has an excellent menu and is reasonably priced. The fruit summer smoothies are definitely worth a try as was the Greek Plate. All the food was beautifully cooked and presented.

First time visiting on a Sunday morning. The atmosphere was nice, chilled, and really lovely. There’s lots to look at and buy, but we mainly came for breakfast. I ordered the avocado toast the bread was very thick and not toasted, which was a bit of a shame as it would’ve been nicer toasted. I only managed to eat half, although it did look pretty at least 😂 Service was very fast, which was a plus. If I come again, I think I’ll order something warm and cooked next time. Overall, a pleasant experience.

I booked an afternoon tea ‘ a tale as old as time ‘ for a birthday present. The decor was lovely and the theme was definitely reflective of beauty and the beast. The savoury elements to the afternoon tea, as well as the scones were really yummy. They were also very accommodating of our coeliac guest. The desserts for this afternoon tea were presented exceptionally, however, this clearly impacted the quality of taste. We appreciated the lovely homeware bits on offer and nice plants, as well as the friendly staff. Otherwise, we felt like the place was a little tired and could do with freshening up/was a little grubby. Food was nice but expensive for what it was, eg halloumi burger with some (not many) chips and coleslaw was £17 or £18. Felt bad for the birds in the aviary which were beautiful but appeared desperate to get out - is the enclosure large enough? Do they have enough enrichment? They did not appear happy and settled at all.
