Travelling all the way from London, I was very pleased with Lahori Gate and the quality of their authentic panjabi cuisine. The food up North is made with love and to a way better standard. Everything was delicious, and the restaurant was nicely decorated. Lamb Karahi and Kebabs were amazing. Service was bad (forgetting to give my cutlery and tissues), especially considering we were the only ones in the restaurant at the time, but I’ll give the waiter the benefit of the doubt.

Ordered ‘Melted Nachos’ The nachos were not melted. I told the guy, he brought it back & the nachos were burnt. The mix grill was not fresh. The seekh Kebabs were sweet & had a rubbery texture to them. They had no Diet Coke, no Sirloin Steak as advertised on the menu. The decor of the place is good & well designed. But the Food is Mid! Spent £100. Was not worth it at all.

Giving two stars as the food was good but the rest of our visit wasn't great. Firstly walked into a pure empty restaurant (though the decor was nice) wandered about wondering if they were open until the guy in the back eventually acknowledged us. He was polite once we were seated and ordering however we were told no diet soft drinks as they were waiting for a delivery so I just had water, then told there was no paneer for the curry but thankfully that was then changed to be told there was. Ill be honest i came here and the best experience i got was back in 2016, it was the peak experience. Beaches is an underrated city coming from Bristol myself just to see the hype. I been recently again and a lot has changed. The waitress back in 2016 (i think her name was Leah) was the best honestly greatest service I’ve ever had. In recent days though and 10 years later i believe she left, but the service was still good. Nothing will beat 2016
