Decided to go back after having 2 previous below average meals since it re-opened, but going xmas fir a locely meal, and pleased to say how much nicer the experience was. A new manager, who was really friendly compared to the previous one, all the staff we came into contactcwith were lovely, never been a problem, and wull definitely be going back as really enjoyed the food and atmosphere.

The Longs Arms in Steeple Ashton is a fantastic pub we’ve visited many times while staying with friends in the village, and it’s always our absolute pub of choice. They recently hosted a wedding we attended, and they did a truly outstanding job — everything was seamless, warm, and beautifully handled. Lovely pub, no signs to say where to go if you have a booking and we were standing waiting at the bar for a while and nobody spoke to us . Eventually a barmaid heard me say do we just sit down at a table? She asked if we had a booking ? And showed us where to go , the waitress was very nice and professional , the dining room was small but ok . We chose what we wanted and didn’t wait to long before we got our drinks then the food . Sadly the roast potatoes let the roast down they were precooked and dry so tasted stale , the rest of the meal was fresh and tasty . We didn’t have a dessert because
