An absolutely lovely restaurant. Not only was the meat pie and the fish and chips the best I’ve ever had in England, but also the service was outstanding. Our server was generous with our portions, she also took her time to have a nice chat and even recommended us some local bars and music locations. I can only give this place a 10/10 for the overall experience. A must visit when coming to Bristol.

The restaurant was right in the alley but it was quite a surprise for us. The shop was quite small and to be honest quite aged - like a restaurant that you see in a 60’ movie. However, the fish and chip was hot and yummy. The staff was nice and the vibe was really good - the seats were a bit cramped but comfortable enough for a small and quick lunch. The only complaint was some of the sauce packs were broken so you might have had chances to have touch some sauce packs with leaks.

Absolutely cool place to eat before a theatre show! Filled with posters from the stage shows of years gone by, the atmosphere gets you properly zoned in for your evening! The staff are first rate! Friendly, attentive and you don't have to wait for 40 minutes to eat! The food is superb! The perfect place to have a sit down pie and chips! It's 10 steps from the Hippodrome so genuinely the best place to eat before you go and watch anything in Bristol!
