Chris Cheeseman★★★★I have been looking forward to this since booking a few months ago. We was greeted by friendly wait staff and taken to our table. We booked a early lunch at 2pm. Now for the but that broke my heart. The brisket was not ready......our group of 3 ordered chicken wings, pulled pork, brisket burnt ends and jalapeño and cheese sausage with mac and cheese side and dirty fries. Every aspect of the meal was amazing, fresh and tasty. But.... with no brisket ready even at 3.30pm when we left it will always leave a sad bitter taste. I wanted to give it 5 stars but had to mark down for the no brisk
Neil★★★★★Loved Spitfire. Visited with my son and Texan daughter in law, who fully also rated the BBQ. A feast for 3 people was £115, good value. All of the food was outstanding but shout out to the burnt ends, mac and cheese and Spitfire sausage. Service was unfailingly lovely but just a bit slow. Relax and chill into it and all good. Will return!
Dave Tanner★★★★★A few reviews have said not value for money…I would disagree as the portion sizes are really generous. The rib was amazing, melt in the mouth and delicious barbecue sauce and rub, mac and cheese was also very good with a lovely well done crust. Only downside was inside was very noisy but food was excellent
Hannah Price★Disappointed with the food for the price, shame a platter option isn’t available and each cut of meat has to be bought separately and not served with sides. The pork was 90% fat, the ranch sauce tasted like yoghurt and even the soft drinks were flat. The atmosphere was strange although the service was quick and drinks were topped up. The mac and cheese, jalapeno sausage, fries and brisket were amazing though. I won’t be returning when places like low and slow or hickory’s diner is out there for half the price. Bill was £99 for picture shown and 2 refillable soft drinks.
