The Olive Shed 🍤 Bristol Harbour Followed Google looking for a nice spot to eat near Bristol Harbour, and this place definitely didn’t disappoint. Service was amazing from start to finish, food was delicious and great value too. We loved the battered anchovies and the prawns 🍤, but the Fish Market special of the day was the real star, super fresh and really meaty. The red and white sangria were also a lovely treat and rarely find the white one!. Highly recommended.

First time I been, heard good things so ordered a couple of platters and a couple of sides, all tasted ok but was expecting so much more considering the venue is well established. Coffee at the end of the meal was undrinkable. The lunchtime view however was amazing, the place was empty and felt the service was on the slow side, would visit for evening drinks if in the area as it’s a nice location.

We visited The Olive Shed for my partner’s birthday, and it was such a lovely experience. I’d mentioned the occasion when booking, and we were greeted with a complimentary glass of Prosecco, which was a really thoughtful touch. We were mainly drawn in by the organic wine list and the gorgeous view over the harbour which gives you a refreshing perspective compared to the usual Bristol spots. We tried the organic red Rioja and the organic rosé Rioja, both of which were excellent. The menu overall was great, but the standout dish for us was the wild mushrooms (pictured) - absolutely delicious.
