Came with high expectations, but was left disappointed. The queue was overly long, and led to a group of staff drinking and chatting to one another, in their own little bubble. Food was overall extremely poor. The cakes were generally too sweet and lacked any flavour. Sugar dominated the flavour of the cardamom and custard tart, while the cakes were extremely stodgy and lacking in depth. The flavours of these bakes are just so right. The cinnamon bun was nice and light so didn’t feel too stodgy/filling. The lemon and basil sponge is subtle but still flavourful. The Guinness cake was nice and rich. Really good with allergens, you can see just by how they have a different set of tongs for each bake that they take care but also really happy to look through the allergen menu and support you. I liked the display shelf showing the bakes on offer too - genuinely just wanted one of everything.

Famous bakery with regular queues, although nearly all bun types were still available at 1pm on a Saturday. The young lady at the till is amazing! Bun is aromatic & soft but more bready than melting in your mouth, choco&halva topping was great though. Definitely recommended as there is also a great choice of cakes.

We got the cinnamon bun and the mince pie scroll which was giving hot cross bun but in a scroll. Both 10 out of 10. Fresh, tasty and not too sweet. Both under £5 each. They also both had their own unique flavour outside your standard cinnamon scroll, couldn't quite put my finger on it but it was so delicious. Coffee also good and staff super friendly.
