Can’t believe this place has been right under our noses the whole time. We’ve walked past it so many times in Oval without giving it a second thought, but one Sunday morning we finally decided to step inside—and wow, what a surprise. Had a really good Sunday lunch here today. The lamb was cooked really nicely and there was so much food we couldn’t finish it all. We tried their arancini and croquettes to start which were great. I also appreciated them sending some mini yorkshires with gravy as a snack while waiting for the mains. The service was friendly and we were sat near the kitchen so it was fun to watch the chefs at work, there seemed to be great coordination between the chef and other staff (lots of “yes chef”). Would like to go back and skip the starter so we have room for their desserts which sounded great.

There were three of us for dinner. We shared some starters and had cote de boeuf and trout for mains - both cooked perfectly and very tasty. The complimentary Yorkshire puddings and gravy were a nice bonus! Service was very friendly and efficient. Would highly recommend.
