Not only is the food really incredible, but the service is really full of love. They always do their best to find as a table, even though it’s fully booked. We had the special sole fish; daal, paratha, keema, prawns and for starters the puri. It was like a trip to india. If you’re not a fan of alcohol you should definitely try the coconut ginger lassi. Exceptional Indian cuisine with a fresh funky European twist. It’s easy on the palate and the flavours come out. I definitely recommend the £20 Thali if you can get there before 6pm, it’s exceptionally generous. If you go for the gin and tonic ask for the Ophir Gin with fever tree. Anna the bartender made us this and it was amazing, we always go with whatever she recommends and haven’t regretted it. The new menu is very nice. We had the potato fries, lentil based starter and my favourite the puri. Then we followed in with the chicken curry special and the new pepper beef. A little daal and paratha and it was perfect. No room for dessert but the lassi is a gem and one of our favourites anywhere. Thanks Sohaib for always finding us a table and the amazing welcome you give us. Thank you to the chef and kitchen team for sending us a couple of surprises. I had such high expectations for this place. The menu looked amazing and so we thought we'd make a night of it. The wine was nice, along with the atmosphere, however things soon fell down with timings. My partners starter came a lot longer before mine (this wasn't outlined beforehand) and when we asked about it (three times), it finally came but it was cold.
