I had my 30th birthday in the function room and we had the best time! The team were really accommodating and friendly, it was excellent value, and the perfect space for 30 people (though you could fit more!). We were able to stop by early and set up too before our party in the evening which was very helpful. The food was also a real hit. We had a blast! Would highly recommend!

I used the function room for my party, and I can't recommend it enough! It was by far the best price I saw, and they were also the most accommodating and happy to have us. It was a warm welcome and they made everything so easy! The party was so much fun, and the perfect amount of space for it. I'd heard of the place because I'd been to a NYE party there, too! Some other spaces I'd looked into couldn't let me hire a private room because I was only expecting 25-30 guests, which I thought was absurd. Thank goodness for The Phoenix! We had the best time.

A Harvey's (ofLewes) pub in Clapham what is not to like. A large pub serving Harvey's Sussex Best. No other real ales were on for my visit but the pint was very good. I arrived a little early for my lunch but the menu has three strands. Burgers, Bap buns and Indian Mexican fusion (clay oven). Due to the time of day the pub was very quiet, however looking at the whiteboards they appear to have many events. They also show all sports on every screen.

Cool pub, nice beers, quiz is great but let down by the extortionate prices. Got charged £9.70 for 2 soda waters with cordial (no alcohol). We were weekly regulars but won’t be going back after that.
