I visited this weekend (Sunday) at around 12pm. There wasn’t many options left so I would recommend to go earlier in the day!! We got a babka and a pan au chocolat. The babka was great, amazing texture and not dry at all. My partner said that the pan au chocolat was one of his favorites he’s ever had! I’d also like to say that the bakes are more reasonable than other artisan/ specialty bakeries, which is a plus. With that however they do charge 50p for ice in your coffee 😭 this is typical in Manchester though, so fair enough. We will be returning, earlier in the day to try more.

A really great bakery in the heart of Levenshulme. They have a huge range of sweet and savoury bakes as well as bread! Great coffee too! Some seating outside but none inside so a bit more of a pop in and go vibe but still a must visit! They provide bakery items for lots of coffee shops in Manchester so super fun to go to the original.

Been coming here since they first opened. Baked goods are always excellent. Coffee is great. I come at least 2-3 times a week. The owner is the sweetest lady! However, I’ve found that some of the new staff are rude. Not everyone knows the ins and outs of the baked items and coffee drinks. Please don’t make anyone feel belittled if they ask a question or get confused with something. Some people may be coming to an independent bakehouse for the first time. You risk losing loyal customers if your workers carry this attitude.

Long Boi’s is small but mighty, and absolutely worth queueing for on a weekend. Jenny’s built something special, and the seasonal bakes land every time. I’m still convinced they single-handedly smuggled the lamington into British bakeries and we’re all better for it. My dad once went to collect an order and came back glowing from the nice chat he had with their team - fully, unequivocally passed the Dad Test, which in our family outranks Michelin stars. We’ve been visiting since 2021 and long may Long Boi’s rein 🫡
