We visited on a sunny May Sunday with very light patches of drizzly rain. It was quiet, but we had a wonderful day. Our 3 year old had a wonderful time seeing a broad array of animals (that are all clearly well cared for), and particularly loved the peacocks! We really liked the clear information boards, the BSL guidance (our son is semi-verbal so we use sign language to support his speech) and the staff were all very friendly and attentive! We didn't order pizza, but they looked really good, we just shared a portion of chips and got a couple of coffees. All really nice! Would highly recommend

Amazing place for a day out! Animals well looked after and have lots of space. Grounds well kept and clean. Staff were so happy, friendly and welcoming. Cafe food fresh and tasty. Would highly recommend for families wanting an inexpensive day out

This is a lovely place to visit with young kids. We've been a few times, this is the first visit since all of the new additions. The staff were all friendly and welcoming and compared to other places to take the kids, it's a lot cheaper. It's worth paying the very small extra fee to see the reptiles and to feed the lorakeets. Other activities like the wallaby walk through is included in the admission price
