An excellent lunchtime experience. The food was really good, I had the ribs and they were brilliant. I ordered a Vanilla shake which was the best I'd ever had. Didn't have a dessert, I was full. If I have one complaint it would be Guns N Roses Sweet Child of Mine was played twice while I was sat there. Listening to that once a month is more than enough thank you very much. The rest of the music was straight out of my collection though.

Platters of slow-smoked flavour-filled meat in the middle of Cambridge. Three of us and we ordered the works. A full rack of ribs with a dark bark and soft centre. Sausages with bite. Beans thick and rich. Fries catching the juices. Metal tray lined with paper, no fuss. In the window, tightly spaced, warm, busy and the food came fast. We talked less as we worked through the feast. We left, tray bare, full.

Long wait to be seated, order and also get food. Cool service button system though! The vege works chips were amazing (could have used more haloumi), best I have ever had. Flaours balanced well and complimented beautifully! Vege bun was good (patty bit overcooked on the outside but great tatste). Cauliflower wings & onion rings were ok. The salad was a real let down. Very sweet dressing, sweet potatoe was quite firm and watery on the outside. Chickpeas were nice though. Unfortunately they just ran out of mac & cheese as we went to order, so didn't get to try.

Had a session of shuffle board then dinner. Forgot to take a photo of the food but we left full and had a good time. Mocktails are great value and really tasty. Will be back to try something new! The waitress (I presume she could have been a manager) was SO polite and attentive.
