Nice place with a cosy atmosphere and really good service. The staff were friendly and handled things well. Unfortunately I found eggshell bits in my food, which was disappointing. However, they apologised and refunded the dish. For the pulled lamb, we expected better taste like sauces (probably personal preference) .

Great brunch spot in Dalston — perfect for work, chill, and a surprisingly good peach salad! Discovered this Cafe Route location in Dalston Square and it quickly became one of my go-to spots for a relaxed brunch or a casual work session. The space is bright and calm, with plenty of tables (some with sockets!) so you’ll often see people working or studying here — great atmosphere for it. I tried the peach salad for the first time and it was honestly amazing! Super refreshing, with a lovely balance of sweet and tangy, paired with cheese and toasted nuts. It gave off a light Mediterranean vibe
