Discovered this place by chance when I went past on 243 bus a while ago and thought it looked interesting given the Cuban flag painted on the side and thought it would be nice to check it out. Fast forward and I chose to make a reservation for my birthday. Very straight-forward, I just called, booked the date and time and told them how many people as simple as that. Honestly this place used to be a hidden gem but now I’ll never visit again. Had the misfortune of spending a close friends thirtieth here and despite booking a table in the main venue for 15 people we ended up in the adjacent pizza restaurant where the atmosphere was a mere fraction of the main building that we’ve been in on every other visit in previous years. Used to be a great authentic night with amazing customer service. Not sure what has happened with the change in management but after the awful experience tonight I will NEVER visit again. Booked a table 6 weeks ago and when I arrived they had no idea about it despite 2 phone calls to confirm.
