Lisa Stronach★★★★★We loved our stay here. Stayed for 4 nights. Paul the manager was brilliant, very welcoming, helpful, friendly. As was the lady who served our breakfast everyday (didn't get her name) Breakfast was lovely. Rooms a wee bit tired but clean and well presented. Fantastic location for everything you need to seein the city. Close to local amenities and parking just across the road at a very reasonable £16 per day. The hotel itself is situated in a lovely spot beside the river and lovely gardens, peaceful spot. Other reviews mention noise of people at the bar in the evenings, but if you're going to
Anita Laker★★★★★Myself , my husband and 7 friends ate in here last night after a show at the Marlowe. It's a great location and the pub itself is cosy and welcoming. We arrived really early but the staff accommodated us. All of the food was brought out at the same time, piping hot and of really good quality. So good in fact I didn't get a chance to take any photos! 3 of us had the Haddock and chips, which was a very generous portion and was delicious. Luisa Fascione★★★★Very nicely located midway between the train station and the town center, by a little river and with a lovely view. The surroundings are silent and quiet, making for a pleasant and restoring city escape. Cool experience to stay in an Inn, lovely service, and the ‘Millers’ room was excellent, but the bathrooms need a freshen-up (including a hand of fresh paint). Appreciate the place means to retain its old-fashioned authentic style, but a sink with double faucet in the 21st century is unusable; similarly, a shower with no hand shower is extremely annoying.
Tanya C★★★★★I came here on a Saturday evening for dinner. I was visiting the town and decided to stay for dinner. Every other touristy spot was full. Made my way down to Millers Arms...and I'm so glad that I did. The restaurant was great. Very inviting and cozy. Service was great. The food was perfect. I ordered the steak pie and a glass of red. Delicious! This really made my whole day wrap up very nicely. Thank you to the Millers Arms.
