That’s when we came across **Chai Street**, an Indian street-food style restaurant, and decided to give it a try. The service was on the slower side, but once the food arrived it was clear that the wait was worth it. The chef deserves credit—the dishes were flavorful, well-prepared, and really hit the spot after a long day of sightseeing. Overall, we really enjoyed our meal here. If we visit Cardiff again, we’d definitely come back to Chai Street for another dinner.

I’m torn on this review because while the food tasted great and the staff were friendly, we had a serious issue with undercooked meat. My husband was served raw chicken, and we witnessed the table next to us return theirs for the exact same reason. They did apologize and provide a replacement (photo below). However, the run down state of the women’s toilets (lock didn’t work properly, no soap) only added to the feeling that hygiene isn't a priority here.
