Exceptional customer service! Friendly, warm greeting every time we came and left. Beds were very comfortable. Loved the shower and the room was larger then I expected for an old inn. Our luggage was carried up to our room and then back down again when we left - there is no lift due to the age of the inn. Delicious breakfast every morning included with room booking. The breakfast menu also had other things for purchase but we didn't find we needed it, they had great choices already included on the "free" menu. First drink came out flat which was okay and resolved quickly. Then we ordered the beef and the gammon which came out right away which was great! However my gammon looked like sad leftovers from someone who couldn't finish it all. Compared to the beef I only got 3 bits of cabbage that seen better days and one end bit of broccoli, whereas the beef came with more veg etc. The gravy was stunning however. I just felt the portions where very different if you ordered beef or gammon.

Just returned home to the UK from a 2 day stay in the Inn and what can I say? Dobbins Inn was fantastic. Very quaint, historic and with a really warm atmosphere. Kirsty was accommodating and so friendly. Was also really great value for money. We would highly recommend to anyone to pay them a visit if your ever in Carrickfergus and we're very much hoping to stay again if we're in Ireland. Thank you to everyone for making our stay so lovely 😊

Had a lovely stay at the inn with my family..loved their breakfast..my son enjoyed his pancakes so much and I enjoyed the turkey sausages. The lady at the front desk/ breakfast was lovely and friendly.
