We visited and stopped by Chit ’N’ Chaat in Cheadle just for tea. The place wasn’t too busy, which made for a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. The tea was really good, and the overall vibe of the restaurant was welcoming. Staff were friendly and attentive, making it an enjoyable visit even for a short stop. A nice spot to unwind with a cup of tea.

What an amazing find this place is, I considered keeping it to myself! I am a huge lover of Indian food but had not yet tried proper Indian street food and today I was able to finally tick that off, and oh my God was it amazing!! The food here was all really tasty and we loved everything. We had the lamb biryani (the most authentic biryani I've had in a while), the masala dhosa, dahi puri (crunchy flavour bombs) and okra fries. The masala chai and pink chai were also really good. It was a busy Friday night so service was a bit slow at times, but it gave us the opportunity to befriend some of the friendly locals. A great spot for tasty, authentic south Indian food!

This was our first time eating here and we were very impressed. It's mostly a tapas style menu. We ordered five dishes between two adults and one toddler and we all came out feeling full - so pretty generous portions. The chaat and fish fritters were particularly delicious. I'd say about £15-20 per person to eat and drink really well. Will definitely come back!
