The sashimi was fresh, with a good mix including salmon, tuna, prawn, and octopus. Took it all home, threw some gyoza in the pan, and had a proper dinner sorted in minutes. This is our go-to when my wife has a day off from the office and we can’t make a proper dinner out. Quick pickup, reliable quality, and you can build a full family meal around it for under £30 with a few extras from the freezer. Tip for families: Great option for a fast weekday

I have been here a few times. The first positive is that the fish itself tasted fresh and clean, and the staff were genuinely lovely. Where it fell short for me was the balance and execution of the rolls. All sushi is heavily coated with sauces and toppings, which often mask the fish's natural flavour instead of highlighting it as the main focus. The pieces were also quite a bit larger than I’d expect, mainly because of how much rice was used, so they felt heavy and a bit clumsy to eat in one go. Really amazing freshly sushi made to order with love and care for a great price. A very small place with nice staff which adds a sense of exclusivity when eating in. Brilliant covid protections in place. I would really recommend coming here with a booking; making sure to preorder what you would like on their website before. Some of the sushi have a little twist on them (oven baked). As a Japanese person this can sometimes not hit the mark at all, however this restaurant does it really well.
