Jaime made this meal better than it otherwise would have been. Friendly but slow service at the counter (due to staff shortages). Some meat options not available and fatty cuts on those that were. Some vegetables overdone but macaroni cheese, roast potatoes and gravy tasty. Jaime was an excellent waitress and provided great service - would have been 3 stars were it not for her.

Good comfort food on the cold day with arctic wind. One friend said it was "the best carvery he ever had" n "veggies were perfectly cooked". Nice busy, hard working waitress made our time even more enjoyable:)

Visited the Toby Carvery in Chelmsford this past Sunday to celebrate my daughter's birthday with a family roast. The food was hot and there was a great selection of fresh veg and meat as usual. It was quite busy being a Sunday, but the staff were friendly and made the occasion feel special for her. As a local Chelmsford business owner myself, I always appreciate good service and a welcoming atmosphere. We really enjoyed the afternoon and will definitely be back for more soon. Great value for money for a family meal out!

So where do I start, this is the cleanest Carvery I have been to immaculate if I'm going to be really honest the pleasant greeting by Dee , jamie , Kieran , Lorna , Mia , Adam was amazing the chef at the serving counter was very pleasant and also the food now I'm from London and love a carvery but this one taste different different as in how a proper carvery should taste I thought we had it good in London smh this place beats us hands down kudos to the whole team you are appreciated and I hope you all know how much your efforts make a difference please never stop being the great individuals yo
