I stay in Cheltenham quite a lot and The George has always been on my list of places to stay. Thankfully it did not disappoint, the property is nicely done out, even if I did nearly get lost coming back from breakfast. Talking of breakfast, there is a great selection of cooked and continental options and they serve one of the best, if not the best Eggs Benedict I've ever had (it's the melt in the mouth gammon they use). Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Fantastic location , modern wine wonderful friendly staff. Room was lovely clean and modern, comfy bed. A stylish hotel with friendly staff. We were only there for one night but had a free room upgrade (it was huge!) and the staff had put some balloons and chocolate in the room for my partner's birthday which was a lovely gesture. The bed was extremely comfortable and all the facilities were good. After we had checked out the staff let us leave our bags there for the day as we went to explore Cheltenham, a great place to stay!

Lovely hotel, room was enourmous, wet room was equally impressive. Breakfast area was delightful and quirky and the full English was exceptional. All round great stay, and located 5 mins walk from the centre.
