Transparency - this is my local (I live under a minute walk away), but to be fair it was one of the reasons I chose to live in this area. The Railway is a proper pub, and more. The food is VERY good, although it can be a bit spicy. It's also not overpriced. There's not a big selection of real ale, but that doesn't matter because they choose what they have well. And if you prefer a glass of wine they've got good taste choices at reasonable prices, not the default crap house wine excuses. First visit to The Railway. Full of craft beers, none of the commercial Wetherspoons tosh. Service was amazing a was the atmosphere. Food was Thai street BBQ, there were 8 of us all had different dishes from Thai omelette to a Tofu dish and steaks. Everyone loved the food. We will be back.
