We visited the Temple Bar during an overnight stay at Chessington and after seeing the reviews, we were a little apprehensive about going. We were really impressed with how friendly the staff were, and the food not only tasted lovely, but there was plenty of options/variety. It was really reasonably priced for a theme park. We loved the theming of the restaurant too! Definitely worth a visit.
Mia Cosar★★Upon arriving the atmosphere was very attractive and appealing but once seated we were walked to the back of the restaurant as all the tables around us were yet to be cleaned.hoped the food would perhaps make up for it. I was wrong the food was cold with little to no choose. Was disappointed quite honestly as the atmosphere was ruined by half eaten food on tables around was rather off putting to see. Wouldn’t return for breakfast.
J P★We stayed at chessington resort for a night after visiting the park & zoo. The interior is very interesting in the restaurant but; they only offer a Buffett selection. We have two children and they don’t even offer chicken nuggets, which ultimately isn’t the end game, but we asked to see the food and wasn’t allowed, at £30 per person, fixed price, we’d expect to be allowed to see the food. Cheap food, sold at an extortion, with poor selection. The young lady at the front desk of the restaurant couldn’t answer any questions about food, and was pushy with other people who were subject to pay for
Lauren Unsoy★Booked a table for dinner, didn't even get to see the food options and was charged £120. Buffet looked like 1 week old food and it was all under heat lamps that have no heat- so food was all cold. Not alot of food options was mainly thai curry/fried nuggests (only 1 mixed peppers for veg) and a dry salad cart. Atmosphere was dingy, maybe 3 other people scattered around, half the lights were off, asked for some hot water because the restaurant was freezing - which they didnt have either. Will never be eating in the restaurant again! First and last time. Very disappointed.
