Stayed here for a family wedding in Goodwood. Rooms are cosy with limited storage - so perfect for a romantic weekend. Even though the hotel is central, it is quiet. The staff are incredibly friendly and efficient. Highlight is the restaurant. A lovely choice, well cooked and utterly delicious. The cocktail & wine menus are also excellent with a wide choice but not, thankfully, an encyclopaedia. A wine for all budgets with plenty available by the glass. Breakfast is also excellent! Fabulous!

What a lovely place this is - just couldn't fault it in any way. Stayed overnight following a visit to Chichester's Festival Theatre for which Purchases is perfectly located. The room was clean, comfortable and stylish. Pre-theatre meal delicious and great value considering the quality of the food and cooking. Staff efficient and friendly. What more could one want.

A Lunch to Remember – Highly Recommended Yesterday, four of us enjoyed a delightful lunch at this exceptional independent restaurant, choosing from the set menu. The experience was top-notch, combining superb food, excellent value, and attentive service. Came to Chi for the local market, hadn't been for probably 15 years. While waiting to be served in the pub opposite we heard the classic sound of a cocktail shaker and switched over to see what was on offer at Purchases. What was on offer turned out to be amazing cocktails, amazing food, kind and friendly people who couldn't do enough to make you comfy and happy, and they even let us have our quiet dog with us in the beautiful outdoor seating area. We thought our food was just divine, and we are already planning our return. Thank you to all the lovely staff! X
