Was in a rush passing through so grabbed 2 sausage in batters. The best sausage in batter I've ever had, tasted like proper high quality sausages, lovely batter on no oily taste like other places. Can't wait to pass by again as I could tell by the quality that it will all be unreal.

I've been eating from Wilsons for more than 10 years now but they seem to be resting on their laurels and can't even bother to provide freshly fried chips anymore. My most recent visit and probably last was extremely unpleasant as I was served stale chips and not so fresh fish. Shockingly, I suspect the oil they used was also from the day before. Disgusting considering they charge £13 for a small cod and chips in Zone 5. Wouldn't recommend as they're not the same anymore. Continuing to do a disservice to their respected name.

This is my fourth visit I kept on having the £5 chips and fish bites that is excellent value for money. Chips seems ok the fish bites were good too you get three. My visit today I ordered a Large Cod £12 I've taken a picture of it and you can judge it for yourself, if this is large I wouldn't wanna see the small. A real disappointment I'll stick to my £5 launch time offer from now on. The lady that serves has always a nice smile and she is really polite. She is an asset to this establishment. But don't get a large cod as it'll disappoint you. I've put a wooden fork just to show you the size.

I went to Wilson today to get my lunch cod and chips the first and 2nd time I went here I paid £13 since then IV been payibg £10 for a lunch time special which is a medium cod and chips today I went there and they told me £13.50 and all your going to get is little bit of chips dry like the Sahara desert and the the cod. There's no way I'm going to pay £13.50 for that. This place is going down hill. All These different staff are confused. I won't be going back again... I hope you loose out on more customers
