Enjoyed a very nice meal with my wife and daughter. Genuinely one of the nicest for a long time. The pizzette, camembert, kamp, pork, mac an cheese, creme brulee and crumbles were all excellent.

Very nice country style pub without being in the middle of the country. Not the cheapest place but you get what you pay for. Nice settings, quality drinks. Families and dogs are welcome there, even got dog treats on the menu.

I returned to this pub after two years, hoping the service had improved to match the food. Unfortunately, it has declined. Despite booking for a guest with a disability, we were seated in a high-traffic area by the garden door which we had to constantly get up and close. A sign for servers and guests in the garden to close the blasted door is advisable. The hygiene was unacceptable, we had to clean our own cutlery and one of the chairs was filthy. To top it off, we were served tap water when we specifically ordered still water. For a £200 bill for 3 people with no alcohol, the cramped facil
