We sat in the outside patio area. I had the pie of the day- chicken, leek and ham which was served in good time but initially without the gravy (hence missing from the pic). Food was good enough and fairly priced in today's crazy times, albeit the plate looked a bit sparse with the pie on top of the mash. Scored a three for service as tables were a bit sticky and a waitress did not know what the pie of the day was when asked. I will definitely return and have the fish and chips as this looked very good.

Great little cafe with a decent menu. We had the baked potatoes and I had the prawns with seafood sauce which was absolutely delicious and plentiful. Served by the pretty blonde with stunning eyes and she was very helpful, polite and professional. Only complaint is that it can be a bit cramped when busy. And toilet seat was loose in the gents.

Last week I visited the Haven House Inn and Café with my family, and it turned out to be one of the best experiences I’ve had in England. We ordered the fish and chips and the minute steak ciabatta with chips. The food was outstanding, especially the fish and chips – crispy, fresh, and full of flavour. We thought that we had to wait for 30 minutes as it stated on the entrance because of how busy they were, but food actually came way quicker than that. Hot and tasty. Love my pepper squid, and partner had chicken schnitzel. Indoor venue has air con so it’s a bless on a very hot day by the beach. Many thanks
