So this would be the 3rd McDonald's I've left a review on now. This one in the town of Clacton On-Sea is half-decent, but improvements can be made. For starters, some of their ordering machines don't give you a receipt, so you'd have to remember your order number. A downside, is that if you go between 3-5PM, it is EXTREMELY busy, but any other time, its mainly just a few people to empty. Food is alright, depends what time you go in the day, atmosphere most of the time is... fine. As for service, whenever I do only have cash, most of the time employees are good and have friendly service. 4 Star

I had a breakfast sandwich with hash browns and it was really good. Also tried their chicken Big Mac but I’ve had better chicken sandwiches. Fish sandwich had a lot of tartar sauce which I appreciate 😏also, the seasonal hot chocolate is amazing.

UPDATE: Visited yesterday and for the first time in a very very very very long time... pleased to report the upstairs area was clean and tidy. A young lad constantly walking around and keeping on top or cleanliness.. well done. Fingers crossed this continues and the below does not return. Food still luke warm too cold... It would appear the staff spend most of their time focusing on orders for the various delivery companies before 'walk in' customers.. perhaps causing our food to be cold?
