£6.69 for a large breakfast of this quality is borderline criminal. They could easily stick another three quid on the bill and the place would still be heaving. It looks fantastic, tastes even better, and completely embarrasses most so called proper cafés charging twice the price. Wetherspoons do not mess about with cheap rubbery catering rubbish. Excellent place for a Wetherspoons pub and I experienced something that's been rare for me, i was actually served a decent pint of real ale possibly for the first time ever in a spoons pub. It proves that you can actually get a decent beer from this franchise, so if the Jolly Tars can do it why can't all the others! The look and feel of the var is quite cosy and a pleasant surprise. It's far enough away from the main Blackpool tourist area to not attract the wrong types and the clientele was mature making a good ambience. I had a great visit to the Jolly Tars pub. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a real local charm. Jade provided outstanding service, friendly attending and professional thoughout, she made sure everything was perfect and really enhanced our time! Will be returning soon!
