Although it is not far from busy retail areas, the pub has more of a country feel to it than I expected, situated next to the church in Llansamlet village. Large car park at rear along with an outside seating area. Interior was clean and well maintained when we visited. We called in the early evening on a weekday and the pub wasn't busy. Staff were friendly and welcoming. We didn't have a meal as the kitchen wasn't open yet, but pub food is available. Refreshing pint of San Miguel and fruit cider were enjoyable.

We had a lovely experience at The Plough and Harrow, thanks to a young man who served us with black hair. He was extremely welcoming from the moment we arrived and remained polite and attentive throughout our visit. His friendly manner and professionalism really stood out and made us feel comfortable and well looked after. Excellent service and a real credit to the pub.

Well well. What a lovely meal we have had today. I had fish and chips the fish was cooked perfectly with fabulous light batter. Not at all greasy. Husband had lasagna was also fabulous. Plenty on the plate .Came away with very full bellies. Definitely recommend and will be visiting again.
