I have had breakfast/brunch here a few times now, and every visit has been outstanding. I have tried a range of plates and no matter what I choose, the quality, flavour, and presentation are always exceptional. The Alo America plate is my favourite and I highly recommend pairing it with the homemade hash browns on the side. The pancakes are also absolutely fresh, fluffy and delicious. Had a really great experience at Firedog , the vibe is relaxed, stylish, and perfect for a chill catch-up or solo stop. Started with the granola, which was fresh, well-balanced, and full of flavour , not too sweet, just right. The Caesar salad with grilled chicken was spot on: juicy, well-seasoned, and nicely presented. Drinks were just as good , the vanilla latte was smooth and perfectly made by Chrissie , and I loved the fresh orange juice to go, served in a cool can-style bottle. Nice touch Nick. Service was friendly and efficient, and everything came out quickly without feeling rushed.

Lovely casual cafe/restaurant and our favourite place for brunch. Ive been going every Saturday with my family for over a year. The food is always on point. The coffee served by world class barrister Chris's is excellent and the staff are amazing, friendly and welcoming. Special mention to Andrea and Seren who always brighten my day with their beaming smiles. If you want to get some sunshine in your day during these gloomy months then visit Firedog - you wont be let down.

This place is known for its breakfast, brunch and lunches, so it was pretty quiet for a Friday evening but the food was full of flavour. Our waitress recommended the slow braised rib with mash and jus, and she was not wrong! It was delicious. Hearty portions. For starters, we shared octopus and calamari which were both delicately cooked and not at all rubbery. We were well attended to, sorry I can’t recall her name, but our waitress was very friendly and helpful. Thanks for a great evening!
