Absolutely love this place ! The staff including chiefs are very friendly and accommodating making you get what you’re wanting. Food is amazing and good quality ingredients are used . I’m foodie and can tell the efforts put in to make sure the meals are delicious. Recommend this place over any restaurant here in Colchester . Visited today for lunch with a friend. Lovely quaint setting with very friendly and attentive staff. Order taken quickly and food served promptly. Good value for money and generous portion sizes. Ordered cheese & mushroom omelette with herby diced potatoes and salad which was delicious and cooked to perfection. Would definitely recommend and can't wait to visit again!!!

Went in for a lunchtime bite to eat before Christmas. We had our week old baby with us. The staff were excellent as always. They all made a fuss of Baby Grace. The food was excellent and the staff were happy to put it back in the hot plate while I was changing baby. If you're in Colchester and want a decent bite at reasonable prices get yourself to Timbers. You won't regret it.
