Ate here over the weekend with family for lunch. Very disappointing roasts. Nut roast did not come with enough gravy , and we had to request more. Pate did not look homemade, scampi and the tarragon chicken were 'ok'. Lasagne was not enjoyed as the bechamel sauce was lumpy and the thickest layer of cheese on top was unpleasant. Steaks were rated 5 out of 10, and the onion rings were ridiculously large and greasy. Service was slow. Sat waiting for a drinks menu (there isn’t one) and had to find a member of staff to come and take our food and drink order. Not great when you want to see what drinks are available before ordering. Menus were dirty. Most food was lovely and hot. Mix grill wasn’t great - shrivelled mushroom and small servings of meat for the price. However we did enjoy the other choices. Atmosphere was mixed.
