Had a lovely dining experience at Los Arcos in Coulsdon. The staff were friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout the evening, with Dora providing particularly outstanding service. Although the restaurant was quite busy and it took around 20 minutes for our order to be taken, everything arrived very quickly afterwards. The food was delicious. We enjoyed the garlic chilli prawns, hot paprika octopus, alioli patatas, ham, chicken, egg & cheese croquettes, cheese and tomato aubergine, and a chorizo and chicken paella. Had a brilliant birthday meal with plenty of food. Even had food to takeaway. Food was so flavourful as well. I've been going there for years and wanted my family to enjoy it as much as I did and they absolutely loved it. We had: Fresh bread with alioli, jamón serrano, olives, patatas bravas, Padrón peppers, chorizo in wine, garlic prawns, and a mozzarella, avocado & tomato salad. For mains, we’ll had pork fillet with fries, lamb cutlets with vegetables and potatoes, chicken and beef skewers, and seafopd and chicken & chorizo paella rice. Dessert: churros with chocolate

I never choose to go to this restaurant……… let me be clear the food and the service are good to great and that I can’t fault. However the elderly owner comes across as intentionally rude. All other staff are super friendly. Last time I went with my mother in law he brought me a larger and slammed it down and walked away. I put my hand out to shake his hand and said thank you loudly and got no response. This is the third time something like this has happened. Other family members think this is just his character. Absolutely the best Spanish food in the area. Every single time - whether it was delivery or dine-in experience - I got great food and experience there. You can blindly order anything there and it will be cooked and served fantastically. The smallest downside - it can get super loud inside, but otherwise food is totally worth it!
