Staff very welcoming. Coffee nice. Good food selection. We had a pork and stuffing batch and a turkey stuffing batch. Both were very well filled but sadly they were cold on arrival. It was very busy and, so we didn’t want to make a fuss. Nonetheless, the batches were tasty just not having them served warm took the edge off.

The service provided was excellent, and the staff demonstrated commendable politeness. However, there is a limited selection of warm, solid food items available for takeaway, with the sausage roll, the sole option, typically selling out by 2 PM. The current operating hours are insufficient. It is recommended that Memorial Park expand its dining options. Additionally, there are consistently long queues for coffee at the current park bistro.

I visited when it was very busy, the staff rushed off their feet but still polite, attentive and efficient. The food is well prepared, good portions, appropriately served. Wooden cutlery, thin useless serviettes and condiments in plastic sachets. We had to sit at a recently vacated table before it had been wiped. Clearly deservedly popular, offering competent food and drinks at a good price, in a British public park.

Not a big fan of, to be honest, I popped in there hoping to get some ice-cream for my little one. There were just a few options of ice lollies. We got a latte and a flat white. Quite moderate. Seats were mostly taken, but there were benches nearby to use. The carrot cake was good a bit on dry side and so sweet, the Victoria sponge not so exciting. I guess this cafe is more of grab something simple if you have to, otherwise a good place to just seat for a regular coffee.
