The meats were juicy, tender and full of flavour while the rice was well seasoned and the side salad was fresh. There isn’t really a proper dessert menu but it’s worth ordering the Persian ice cream, which was saffron flavour and very nice! Prices are slightly more on the expensive side, despite the restaurant’s casual, no thrill atmosphere but the food is well worth it.

Very disappointing experience at Zafron Crawley on Saturday, 30 May. I visited the restaurant at around 6:00–6:30 pm and purchased 8 naan. As soon as I paid, the naan were immediately handed to me in a bag, despite not having pre-ordered them. At the time they felt warm, and I was assured they were fresh. When I served them to my guests about 20–25 minutes later, I was embarrassed to discover that most of the naan were badly burnt, broken into pieces, misshapen, and some were only partial naan. Very nice restaurant, the food was tasty, decor is pleasant, staff are friendly and the menu is great. We really enjoyed our mixed platter. Parking also available in Asda. Highly recommended.
