Visited on a weekday, around 18:00. Plenty of seating, local pub atmosphere. Good staff who dealt admirably with some crazy visitors. Ordered a few pints of Abbot ale and a mixed grill; both good, huge plate of food. Middle of the pub is taken up by slot machines.

I stopped by your café during the rain, hoping to quickly take shelter and enjoy a coffee. I had my small Yorkshire Terrier with me. Since you have outdoor seating, I thought it might be possible to sit outside with my dog, especially given the weather. I completely understand restrictions indoors, of course. I was just a little surprised that even the outdoor area wasn’t an option. It made the experience feel slightly less welcoming than I expected. Perhaps this is something worth reconsidering, as many customers with well-behaved dogs would really appreciate the possibility to sit outside

Decent pub, staff were nice, breakfast was good,dinner was also good. We went for the 3 small plates which were halloumi sticks, cheesy chips and chicken tenders. They were all decent and service was quick despite it being a busy Sunday evening. Could definitely do with more chips for the burger, portion was very small.

5 stars all cross the board! This was a fantastic Wetherspoons, admittedly the wait for food was a little longer than I’m used to at Wetherspoons locations but otherwise this was an amazing experience. High quality tasty food, lovely atmosphere and the friendliest staff I think I’ve ever encountered in any pub. Absolutely recommended!
