only got a basic coffee without numerous syrups, etc. - wasn't good. coffee tasted burnt and bitter. not expecting artisanal (though that would've been £1.00 cheaper and 10x better quality) but i do expect something consumable. used to work in starbucks and their machines are pretty automated, including the temperature, and id imagine costa set up would be similar so unsure how the coffee could be made so badly. have had it at other branches, with varying results, but generally acceptable (even good, at times). didnt want to get a greggs coffee but given the costa quality, may as well have. ne

My expectations are usually pretty low for any sort of drive through however Costa halbeath has exceeded my low bar today and reached even lower. Rude, snarky server, coffee tastes burnt and food was so soggy I left it on the shelf at the window. I speak to people every day of my working life in the most horrible of circumstances, I manage to be engaged and polite as a minimum - always. I don’t get why buying a coffee and food needs to be so dramatic.

I love my costa been going for years and they have never let me down went today as it was on my way to work. So I went with a happy smile said Hello no reply at all infact in return I got this weird look it was like the girl at the counter never seen a brown person before I asked for a tea pot and she pretend as if no one ever asked for a tea pot and gave me pot with hot water inside when I said I asked for a tea pot she said but u didn't say u want tea which was very stupid as I've been going to costa for many many years and always order a tea pot and get a tea pot in return she started argui
