From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, cosy and truly Northern, a little slice of France right in South East London. The food was outstanding. The rich, slow-cooked beef bourguignon with creamy mashed potatoes was full of flavour and perfectly cooked, proper comfort food done beautifully. We had onion soup, mussels, beef bourguinion, cassoulet, crepe Suzette and creme brulee and a carafe of red wine. Total was £103 including tip, which we thought was very reasonable. Look forward to trying more of the food next time we visit.
