Been coming here since I was child while visiting family (I’m from out of the area). Also an added bonus of coming to Cwmbran was getting a takeaway lunch from here and still to this day it’s fab! Must be the best fish & chip shop in all of Cwmbran for sure.

Previous owner was lovely. But portion size of chips is better now, and they a are a bit nicer as probably using different potatoes or oil. More local to me, but Pontnewydd still the best chippy in Cwmbran. Not that I have chips often, but just wanted to give a good review. The boating lake is only about a 10 minute stroll away.

First time I tried this chip shop today. Food ok but found it very expensive. Large tray of chips with curry sauce (plain i should add not chicken) . 1 can of coke £7.70. I normally pay between 5 and 6 pounds everywhere else for same. Won't be going back.
