We popped in by chance when our van broke down up the road, and what a lucky find it turned out to be. The food was incredible—honestly exceeded expectations. It looked like we were fortunate to get a table too, as most were already reserved, so it’s clearly a popular spot. Would definitely recommend ☺️

This wasn't a great meal and you could argue 3 stars is too high. The reason for the 3 stars is because it's the first time I've had a half decent steak for under £13. No idea how they even make money on that. It wasn't great by any means. The beef dripping sauce was also massively lacking in flavour. But not sure anywhere else where you can feed 2 people with drinks for just over £20 all in. For that reason I actually recommend it. Especially if you are on a budget.

Wasn't too busy giving it was a bank holiday Monday, although the fish was large on the plate and reasonably priced 2 meals for £13 the fish wasn't that nice, couldn't work out if it was meant to be cod, Haddock or a cheaper version, wouldn't order fish again I'm afraid if I was to return. However that's the first time I've been there in years so obviously things change.

It's the first time I have been here for years. I found the decor dark and uninviting. The tables could do with a proper clean if I'm honest. The food was mediocre. 2 meals for £10. The photos will explain the quality of the food. I will not be eating here again.
