Hope and Lane is a great cafe in Deal! Delicious coffee and amazing cakes, aswell as a mouth-watering toastie which was all served to us very quickly. The toastie was oozing with melted mozzarella, tomato and pesto and I left more than satisfied!! Great atmosphere as they are dog friendly and even had books on the table so perfect to visit if you are out alone!!

Hope & Lane has always been on our radar to try, so we were so glad we finally visited! Even though we arrived quite late on Friday and were desperate for a coffee, Mercy was kind enough to let us in and made one of the best iced coffees I’ve ever had. It was so good that we had to come back on Saturday to try the Chimichurri chicken sandwich, and it was absolutely divine. We’ll definitely be back again. Thank you for such wonderful service and delicious food!

This is a little gem and a great addition to Deal. Coffee is very good here and so is the wide selection of pastries and cakes. I sat upstairs which has a more peaceful vibe and is very comfortable. I would definitely revisit if back in the area.
