I was able to visit here a few weeks ago, the first time since 1999! The food is even more exquisite than I remember from my last visit, absolutely delicious, and excellent value for money. They're ever-changing menus is a stroke of genius because there's always something new to try. The place itself is cosy and inviting, availing itself equally to intimate meals for two or more lively parties of three or more.

Had Christmas Eve’s dinner there, scrumptious food and very attentive staff. We tried most of the dishes. Truffle fries didn’t taste truffle at all, Chicken Chardonnay was the best dish of the night, highly recommended. It was bit disappointing that few dishes were sold out in spite its Christmas eve, they should have been more prepared. Sirloin steak was below average. Sea bass dish was delicious. Starters were brilliant, we tried Gambas, crab, smoked salmon and chicken liver parfait and the parfait was out of this world. Desserts were okay nothing outstanding.

Substandard service for a £92 meal for two. We were left waiting 50 minutes for the Soirée Gastronomique starter + bread board (had to request the latter many times).. Need to remind servers constantly to bring the next item. I asked them separately to bring cheeseboard when the hot drinks arrived and they confirmed "sure, no problem", and then did not bring it anyway. Then the neighbouring table who arrived 45 minutes after us get their cheese boards without asking, and we need to ask again. Just rubbish. The food and staff are lovely, very helpful and attentive. I personally found the atmosphere a bit loud and bustling, but I guess thats a sign of a good restaurant. I would happily go back, but maybe for lunch rather than an evening meal.
