I visited La Chouquette because I had heard they do exceptional croissants. I wasn’t disappointed. I visited on a weekend and there was a queue. It was moving quickly though and the there’s limited space inside so you can’t just go in and browse. Standing in the queue however gives you time to decide what to buy as you stand by their window display. Uploading the pictures here reminded me that I forgot to buy the peanut and caramel tart 😢. It looks really yummy. Anyways, they are quick so the queue moves quickly. I got their coffee eclair, it was really delicious, the roasted crunchy coffee

The pistachio croissants were very delicious and definitely worth trying. I really loved them. The coffee is also very good. There’s no seating inside, so you need to take your order to go, but there is some space outside where you can sit and enjoy it.

Delicious pastries and cakes paired perfectly with the best coffee I’ve had in a while. Bread is great, baguettes, sourdough and ciabattas were all splendid. The queue is definitely justified. It’s a place I will be returning to often

If it’s your first visit, you’ll definitely be shocked by the long line of people waiting outside. But their wide variety of pastries is absolutely worth the wait. The one thing you must not miss is their signature la chouquettes. Each tiny piece is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside—so addictive! I should really buy another box to take home next time!
