It's quite rare to walk past a restaurant and chance it, with the end result being a wonderful time...but this chance discovery was simply fabulous. The greeting from the head waiter as we arrived was lovely and we were given a number of seating options. The menu was compact and clearly specialised, which led to me assuming that everything on it would be well prepared...and it was. The olives and the focaccia (with tapinade and balsamic in olive oil) were a delicious thing to have with our initial cocktails. I have visited this restaurant on three separate occasions as part of a wine and food social group, and the food has always been absolutely outstanding. We have enjoyed very imaginative, flavoursome and beautifully presented dishes. Always a very warm welcome and a lovely relaxed atmosphere.
