Favourite pub in Didsbury, it’s also my dogs favourite pub in the world. Good priced beer for Manchester, nice food, and great for sport. The highlights for me: 1. The staff are genuinely lovely, and if you take your dog and they will treat him like the king he is! 2. The speed at which the staff serve and get rid of the Didsbury Dozeners is phenomenal, even when it’s 5 deep at the bar you won’t be waiting long for a pint. 3. Guinness and a steak sandwich for £10 - in Manchester!

My son and I were visiting Fletcher Moss for the first time, and didn't know where to go for food and drinks! Anyway, we decided to go Ye old cock! Well, it turned out to be the perfect choice. Beautiful clean pub with character. Great menu choices. Also, fantastic price deals..a meal and a premium drink each (we chose a Guinness, and a 250ml glass of wine) all for £10!! Great service too. I will definitely go again.

Been here for lunch twice and can't fault the food or staff. The menu is good value for money and the place was clean. Ordering via the app and at the till was easy. They were happy to make amendments to our order e.g. swapping chips for fries. Food only took 10/15 minutes after ordering to arrive. This place is dog friendly and broadcasts football matches.
