I made a trip to Milo Lounge as I had some time to kill while in Liverpool, and I looked for the latest stop in my Lounge Passport quest. It’s only a short bus ride from Liverpool One, although in traffic, it can take a lot longer, so do plan accordingly if doing the same trip. I liked the overall look and feel of the place; it felt very intimate, as I was sitting on a table right by the bar. There is also a small seating area outdoors on Lark Lane, ideal for a sunny day. Gluten-Free Menus are located on a separate table by the entrance, which had the usual extensive Loungers selection includ

One of those places I would handpick for a good English breakfast or brunch. Always a hearty meal here. For lunch, the mains offer some unique fusion choices like Dan Dan noodles, Nasi Goreng (a type of Malaysian fried rice), Sri Lankan curry - which makes it interesting if you like something different. I’ve tried the Nasi Goreng-coming from an Asian, I would say it really wasn’t bad at all. The flavour is slightly adapted to the locals but it wasn’t that far off from the original. A small group of us went here a few weeks ago for brunch. The facility was cosy and very relaxed. They have a large menu with lots of enticing offerings. You can order food via QR code or table service. The service was fine. Some staff chirpy and some less so but overall pretty good and we didn’t have to wait long for our food. For drinks I went with the jammy dodger milkshake and my wife went for the salted caramel hot chocolate. Both of which hit the spot. The milkshake had a good considering and had nice flavour. The hot chocolate was tasty. For food I got the Boxing Day ham (special) which

I came here in the evening during a break from work. There are not many cafés open in this area at that hour, so it meant a lot to be able to take shelter from the rain while enjoying my favourite drink, a matcha latte. I was even more pleased to find out that they use halal meat, which gave me more food options to choose from. The staff were friendly and very attentive. The place has a vintage feel with dim lighting, and there is plenty of indoor seating. Even though it is a cafe and bar, it was not too busy at the time, and I felt comfortable being there. Old songs played in the background,
