We had the best experience here at Da Valter. I had been here once before on my own, with such a pleasant experience that I was expecting nothing less when bringing my friend here this time, & I wasn’t disappointed. The service was excellent, very delightful & catered to every ask of ours, from all staff. We came in for some breakfast, it was quiet & the chef came to shake our hands, introducing himself to us both. The food came within 15/20 mins, hot & freshly prepared. Just went here for lunch for the first time. Was a loyal customer back when they ran Pizza Da Valter on Bellevue Road - always the Calzone. Met the owner, the waiters and the head chef today. Everyone really friendly and welcoming. We had the seafood pasta (really good), the baby pasta and, of course, the Calzone, cooked in their new pizza oven. The pizza is even better than before! The dough is a bit lighter and crispier. It’s really good - like 10/10 good. The restaurant is decorated nicely and there’s a nice big area out the back (indoors) with plenty of pushchair space.
