We had a lovely evening at Amarone in Edinburgh. The waitress who looked after us was really friendly and attentive, and sitting outside made the experience even better — such a lovely atmosphere and a great spot to enjoy the city. What a place to eat. As someone who goes to Italian food places pretty often, this is one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve ever been to. The atmosphere was incredible. Nice music playing in the background, not too loud or quiet but just right. Lighting and decoration was also brilliant as you can see in the photos. Food was incredible. I will definitely be back. I ordered the beef roast and it was the most tender roast I've ever had. My friend got the turkey roast from the Christmas menu and it was amazing as well. The starter of king prawns was so tasty and each course was an excellent portion size. Only complaint is that we waited around 40mins for the bill - they were incredibly busy on a Sunday evening and I think they maybe forgot about us. Food came very quickly though and was all amazing.
